perfect for weekend explorers near parks and dining options
I loved being just a short walk from Trysil Church, made for a good morning stroll, and with restaurants like Kveik Brewpub just around the corner, I enjoyed exploring the local dining scene after a day of adventure. The convenience of nearby attractions enhanced my weekend getaway experience as I like a central spot for walking around the city during my travels!

Recommend it for families with children
We stayed for a week with the family and the breakfast was downright AMAZING! The kids loved the cereal and fruit, while I got hooked on the meatballs and sausages they served up each morning.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but for the experience, it was still acceptable.

I really liked the cozy atmosphere of this hotel. The restaurant had a good breakfast spread every morning, especially the fresh pastries and warm meatballs, real highlights. Parking was a bit challenging at times. There were fewer stairs for easier access, which would be nice for better convenience. On the downside, the rooms had a few issues. The TV didn't work properly, and the cleaning seemed inconsistent. It exceeded my expectations, but it could benefit from better room maintenance.

The food at the restaurant was very nice, and I really enjoyed the cozy sauna and the small sun terrace to relax after a long day. The only downside was that breakfast options were a bit limited, but it was still just right for a busy day of skiing. I definitely recommend trying the local dishes at dinner. They were a real highlight 😊
